Dear Karla

It doesn't seem real that you wont be walking down the path of NDLTC commenting on the weather or on court commenting on your shots. You have been the life of the club and it will not be the same place without you.
You tirelessly and selflessly committed to making the club a better place for us all to enjoy. Your strength, energy and positivity was in abundance both on and off court, always learning and improving your tennis game and life knowledge. I remember you physically carrying and compacting rubble for the floor of the hitting wall and helping with general building works with genuine interest and enthusiasm because you wanted not only to improve the place but also saw it as an opportunity to learn new skills. You made all the social events such fun and we will so miss your animated laughter at the comedy nights and making sure that the bar was well stocked and that there was always food for everyone and music to listen to. I remember your mince pies, your Caipirinhas and you making up ‘two bounce tennis’ in the icy winter so we didn't have to run for the ball.
You somehow found time for it all and your limitless generosity and enthusiasm is an inspiration. You will be so dearly missed.
