Kindest Karla, I miss you. George and Kirsty and I laid a place for you at our dinner table and the silence from your seat broke our hearts. There is a huge Karla-shaped hole at the club, in our social circles, undoubtedly at your school, but mostly in our hearts. I can’t stop thinking about the volley I fluffed when you and were at championship point in the women’s doubles some years ago.
